Working with Models: Sally Arnott

In my travels within the photography world I have had the chance to work in various areas, one of which being model photography

Back in March 2007 I met a stunning model by the name of Sally Arnott, at the time that we met I had only recently started out in Model photography and was working on my own “style” as each photographer does, it took a small period for me to get my feet on the ground and once I did I was off running.

Our first shoot almost did not happen on account of Mother Nature deciding to make it rain, this was not going to be the case, I had some advice from another photographer that if in doubt sometimes you can gate crash a venue and try and give something back to them, ie offer to use a drink or meal that they have as a signature. The venue of choice at the time was the Loco Bar situated at Spencer Street station. Of the many photos that were taken on the day I have showcased the very best;

Since that first photo shoot both Sally and I went on different paths developing our careers, however it wasn’t long before we caught up for another photo shoot which happened not to long after Sally competed in Miss Earth Victorian State Finals,

Sally has since gone on to win titles such as “Top Model of the World” for the Oceanic region and her recognition grows and grows, only recently she was involved with a scene in the new Nicholas Cage Film “Knowing” and also recently starred on Big Brother which included Pamela Anderson.
